New Challenge #75 Left of Center Creative Challenges~Fun Frights

Happy Friday!

Today begins the newest challenge at Left of Center Creative Challenges. Our theme this week is Fun Frights! Our wonderful sponsor this week is the digital stamp company, A Day for Daisies. All of the images they have are so beautiful, I really hope you have time to hop over and see them :)

I was given the cutey monster, "Monster Joe" to play with this week.

Please click each image to see it bigger :)

This is my version of a fun fright for kids....

It is a birthday giftcard holder.  The awesome sentiment is from Create with TLC.

I cut the backgrounds from a Ritz cracker box using my Tim Holtz mini cabinet card die.
The paper I embossed with the Holtz spiderweb folder.

I was so happy when this sentiment came along in the newsletter from Create with TLC, it is so fun and worked out great!

I added some shiny ribbon to hold the giftcard. To add the texture and some color to the outside, I sponged some paint onto once side of the embossing folder then ran it thorough my embosser. Washed the folder right away :)

Thanks for looking and reading! I hope you enjoyed your visit and will hop over to Left of Center and join the fun, for Fun Frights this week.
