Just a small project to share to hopefully brighten your day! Over on STAMPlorations you can see all the fabulous projects this month from my teamies, hope you can find a few minutes to visit, the link is HERE.
I made the background using the ARTplorations stencil, "Bloom Silhouettes" with my homemade gelatin plate.
Glad you are back for another wonderful week and a bit of Visible Image playtime! A quick note as well, hope your were able to catch Visible Image on Create and Craft UK, yesterday. There are some replays available so you can see some awesome demos! As soon as I get the specific link to view it here in the US I will add it into this post :)
I used the wonderfully powerful image set, "Leave Your Fears" by Visible Image. The rest is my usual painty play mix with a bit of embossing, some reclaimed headphone wire and candy foil wrapper for added fun!
Have a wonderful Holiday Season! Will see you again in January after a bit of a break for all of the DT and Mark & Helen of Visible Image. Will leave you with a bit of a tease, you WILL want to come back to see the new and exciting things to come in Visible Image early in 2016!
Today I have a mailart envelope to share made with all stencils by ARTplorations! Today begins a new mixed media challenge at STAMPlorations and it is anything goes except at card and use any stencil. You can see all the inspiration from my teamies and all the details HERE
My basic print was pulled from my homemade gelatin plate with various DecoArt acrylic paints. The big arrows and feathers are from the new large full page size ARTplorations stencil called Feathers & Arrows. The new large stencils are just about 8 inches by 10 inches and wonderful!
My substrate is a piece of cardboard from a shipping box. On top of that I layered some images cut from some collage sheets I found at Mischief Circus, Crowabout StudioB, along with some paper scraps of my own. Everything is attached using gloss medium.
Once dry, I added some sparkle using my favorite Visible Image stamps! I used "Imagine" from the, "Imagine, Dream Inspire", stamp set.
Where has this year gone? Amazing it is almost done!
At Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda, we are happy to share a fun Winter Holidays Facebook Challenge. Now is the time to play with your Lost Coast and/or Carmen's stamp and share with us in this Facebook POST. Make our fabulous stamps the star of the show and you could win some stamps, yay! The Facebook post is pinned to the top and all the rules are posted there, too!
I used on of my favorite stamps, Tabby Cat and Christmas Lights to make this ATC. I embossed Kitty with Lindy's Stamp Gang EP Razzleberry Plum which changes colors when tilted.
The background is Distress Inked and spritzed with water for a wintery sky!
If you are a fan of kitties, there is a wicked fun new challenge blog hosted by Ike for Cats Only Projects, called "Show us your pussies", told ya it was wicked! All kitty cats are welcome :)
