Quick Peek of my Halloween Tag

Just wanted to share a peek of a tag I did for the Rick St Dennis Facebook group challenge.

I have more details on my darker blog, TangledBlackRose. This was a fun project and my first play with some new DecoArt supplies from the DecoArt Blogger Outreach Program.

Hope you have time to see!

Happy Wednesday!

May 2015~Tim Tag~Vintage & Burlap Moments

Happy Tuesday!

Another month I managed to get my Tim Tag done before the last moment, yay!

You can see his wonderful how-to HERE for the 12 Tags of 2015.

I feel very lucky and happy with this month's tag, I managed to get some of the same supplies :) The rest was improvised and the most fun!

Such fun and really like how the burlap panel came out! Below are more close ups for my "Vintage Moments".  Click each to make them a bit bigger!

I made use of the Gothic stencil with Cracked Pistachio Distress ink on top. I love the green, so fun for Summer! For the 'photo' I cut one out from my Tim paper pad.

The awesome butterfly and measure and Camping Store ephemera were in some Happy Mail I recently received, thank you Vicky :) As soon as I saw the pieces, I knew I would use them onmy Tim Tag :)

The flower is the mini Poinsettia sprayed with Distress Spray, Antiqued Bronze for a bit of shine.

Hoping you have a fabulous day and enjoy each moment!

Challenge #79 Left of Center~Black & White +1~Lacy Sunshine

Happy Friday!

So are you ready for the weekend?? I hope you week has been wonderful!

Today starts the newest challenge at Left of Center Creative Challenges. The theme this week is really fun, Black and White +1! Have fun with this theme, as always at LOC if it does not set your creative spirit on fire, just go Left of Center and be dark, gothic or creepy. Give it a try anyways, it is all fun!

Our wonderful sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine. I was given this wonderful digital stamp, "Lucille" to play with for this challenge. You can see her HERE at the Lacy Sunshine shop :) The shop is stocked full with wonderful images and has a great variety!

I love making tags and this one was no exception! Lucille is colored using Sharpie markers on Bright White paper by Neenah.  The background is made using Distress Ink and acrylic paint, swished swirled and stamped.

The butterfly diecut is by Tonic Studios. The diecuts at the base and top are Spellbinders. The sentiment is stamped and embossed. The sentiment stamp is by Visible Image.

I had tons of fun with this tag and wonderful image! I really hope you have some time to play along this week, too! Join us at Left of Center Creative Challenges!

See you soon!

Merry Monday and Happy News Part II!

HI!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend! The weekend just went way too fast!  I think every weekend needs to be a long weekend, what do you think?

A couple of weeks ago there was a Design Team Call for a UK based stamp company, Visible Image. I adore the fabulous line of amazingly detailed stamps. Over the Holidays I was fortunate enough to win two stamps and fell in love with them. So long story longer :) I applied and truly did not think I had a chance!

A couple of days ago I got the happy happy news I made it and I am so excited and honored! All new DT have a one month trial period, so I am hoping to do my best to succeed! I really appreciate all my bloggy friends support and encouragement on each of my projects, it means the world to me! Hugs!!

You probably recognize this from my May Inspiration piece for the Tic Tac Toe Mixed Media Mojo Challenge. It uses the Visible Image stamps, Leave Your Fears and Behind Every Mask
You can see more on this page of my blog HERE

And this is the amazing Visible Image DT:
