Inaugural Posting~Hello~Welcome!

Hello!

 Welcome to my tiny space inside this blogspace. I am very new at all this, so please bear with me as I figure things out:)

 I stumbled upon this wonderful place, among so many more, called Pixel Dust Photo Art and it felt so nice and welcoming. There is a wonderful monthly Photo Art Friday and I decided to jump in.....
The prompt is "Quirky Selfie". Well...I did not wanna do a selfie but instead used my photo from a place near and dear to me, so it is a part of me:)

 Now let's see if I can put the photo here >.< 
It is my photo of a Joshua Tree taken at Joshua Tree National Park. It is layered on some wickedly wonderful grungy backgrounds I found at Shadowhouse Creations.

    Welcome to Photo Art Friday . . . it is always a treat to meet new artists in the gallery. The way you have composed your piece makes it almost appear 3 dimensional. I like it.

    love this photo of the Joshua Tree... you did a nice job layering your photo. i use Shadowhouse Creation's work in lots of my photos. he's a very generous person allowing the use of his work. hope all is well. have a great day~

    Welcome to Friday Photo Art! We have fun here.. Bonnie is wonderful and she provides an assortment of beautiful texture. I was born in Palm Springs and have lived in the high desert for a short time. We are in Oregon now, as of Christmas day..
