Things to Alter~ New Challenge for August Anything Goes!

Happy August!

Hope your are staying cool and not too cold in some parts of this wonderful World!

Today starts and aweosme new challenge at Things to Alter!

This is my creative project for Jac's team made using MDF given to me to play with along side some awesome media from the DecoArt Blogger Outreach Program. Love it when I can play with all these fun goods!

My project is a simple journal cover made of chipboard. The package I found at Michaels and came with several blank pages. I am attempting Page 1 and sharing today!

My ingredients:
Things to Alter MDF Cogged Heart, Mini Flowers, and a Geoclusters piece
DecoArt Media Gesso, Crackle Paste, Modeling Paste, Fluid Acrylics, Glazing Medium

The word stickers are Holtz Chit Chat mini stickers. The words are not my own but from a song by Paul Hewson, "Stand Up Comedy".

Have a magnificent journey!

  2. This is stunning....so pretty and so creative. Love how you positioned Tim's words on the cover. I will have to look for the chipboard the next time I go to Michaels....10 mile round trip from our house so I only go when the 50% off coupons are active. genie
