Day 6 Kickstart Your Art!~Use a Book or Magazine Page

Day 6 of Kickstart Your Art!

I am playing along with the 7 day challenge from Smeared and Smudged, Kickstart Your Art. The Challenge is to make an art journal page a day for seven days. One each day following the daily prompt.

Today's prompt is use a book page or magazine page! You can join the Facebook Group to check it all out, HERE

Here is my page, you are most welcome to click the image to see it bigger:)

I used digital papers by Smeared Ink and assorted die cuts. The papers I used can be found HERE and I must say they are so awesome! I merged two papers inside Photoshop Elements and adjusted the layers. The background stamps are mostly Tim Holtz using archival ink.

I colored some book pages with Dylusions Spray ink. Once dry, die cut them and made flowers.

One more day to go!

Warning! Only a small amount of physical inkyness occurred during the production of this hybrid page!

My favorite grumpie is looking a bit scared and does not want to share his Smeared Ink Candy Cane!

Happy Creepmas!
